The purpose of this letter is to provide you with notification of an Abnormal Occurrence as required by Technical Specifica-tion 6.6.B.1.a within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> of the occurrence.

On September 14, 1974, while performing routine monthly sur-veillance-on turbine EHC control fluid low pressure switch PS-1-5600-PS-4, the switch was found to trip at 890 psig decreasing, thus exceeding the trip level setting of > 900 psig required 'oy Technical Specifications Tabic 3 1.1.c.

This occurrence was discussed by telephone with Mr. Federabend of your office on September 16, 1974.

Further information will be submitted within,10 days of the date of this occurrence.
