Dear Senator Muskie:
It is our understanding that the above said nuclear power plant has had a number of problems from supposedly bad welds and metal failure. It is'our -
further understanding that tests were performed to see how the repairs might be made, but the corrodents were never identified.
Would you kindly advise me if the corrodents have now been identified. If they haven't, it doesn't c seem to me that the plan.t should be operated.
I am further concerned that this plant will release radio active material to the atmosphere 'and liquid solids on a batch basis to Barnegut Bay.

appreciate any current information you may be able to -
obtain.
