Abnormal Occurrence 75-04: Failure of the Main Steam Line Isolation (MSLI) Valves Solenoid valves to operate properly Cinna Station - Docket #50-244 Dear Mr. Case this is to cuaritu uj pLuas cer.ver::ti:n with Mr. Bha Sera-ear enday to re-port Abnormal Occurrence 75-04 at Ginna Station.
During the performance of PT-20, " Main Steam Isolation Valve Solenoid Trip Test" one air supply solenoid valve on the 1A Main Steam Isolation Valve failed to operate when tested.
Instrument and Control personnel were called and the test repeated twice and the solenoid valves operated correctly. The linkage on the supply solenoid was adjusted and the valve tested several times successfully.
The PORC met and recomended that the test be repeated before our scheduled outage on March 15, 1975 to determine'the amount of maintenance to be per-formed during the shutdown.
