1995, " Docket Nos. 50-361 and 50-362, Request for Withholding Information from Public Disclosure Response to Generic Letter 92-01, San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 2 and 3" Your letter dated March 20, 1995 (Reference 1) concluded that Edison's submittals with regard to Generic Letter 92-01 (GL 92-01) contained proprietary information but would nonetheless not be withheld from public disclosure. Our letter dated April 17, 1995 (Reference 2) withdrew Edison's GL 92-01 submittals in accordance with the provisions of 10CFR2.790(c) and committed to providing a non-proprietary version of our submittal within 30 days af ter Combustion Engineering (CE) has released the relevant proprietary information to Edison on a non-proprietary basis.
As a result of a verbal request by NRC representatives in a phone conversation with Edison and CE on April 27, 1995, Edison is amending our April 17, 1995 letter to withdraw only those portions of the submittals that contain-proprietary information.
This change will allow the continued use of information contained in the non-proprietary portions of the Edison GL 92-01 submittals.
