DISAGREEMENT IN MODE ANALYSIS DATA BLRD-50-438/83-57, BLRD-50-439/83-50 NCR BLN CEB 8307 10 CFR 50.55(e)
FIRST INTERIM REPORT Descriotion of Deficiency Mode analysis data for problem N4-1(2)ND-H that was developed by TVA's Division of Engineering Design (EN DES) Bellefonte Design Project (BLP) does not agree with the existing mode analysis data used at the interface points with the other connecting problems. The original mode analysis that was developed by Teledyne Engineering Service (TES) for TVA's Civil Engineering Support Branch (CEB) Reports also does not agree at the problem interface points. Due to the inadequacies that exist against the content of the TES analysis (CEB reports) and the lack of control of all these CEB reports, dealing with operating mode evaluations, all problems may be affected.
Interim Progress The existing operating mode analysis reports are in the process of being controlled in accordance with CEB Engineering Procedure (EP) 21.38. All operating mode reports will be revised and issued by Bellefonte Design Project (BLP). BLP is presently scheduling this work.
