6/14/91 NARRATIVE SUMMAp.Y MONTil: May 1991 McGuire Unit 1 began the month of May shut down due to a flange leak on the;'D' reactor coolant pump.

The unit was returned on line at 1535 on 05/14. The unit was held at approximately 20% power from 0108 to 1023 on 05/15 for a secondary side boron soak. The unit was next held at approximately 80s power from 0927 to 1320 on 05/16 for nuclear instrumentation calibration.

The unit reached 100% full power at 0330 on 05/17, and operated at 100% full power for the remainder of the month.
