BELLEFONTE NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - POTENTIALLY OVERSTRESSED EMBEDDED PLATES - SIXTH INTERIM REPORT The subject deficiency was initially mported to NRC-0IE Inspector R. V. Celenjak on April 12, 1982 in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e) as NCR WBN CEB 8203 Interim reports were submitted on May 18, July 13, and October 14, 1982 and April 4,1983 This deficiency was subsequently expande.d to cover Bellefonte, Yellow Creek, and Hartsville Nuclear Plants as NCR GEN CEB 8208. Our final report on Watts Bar was submitted on May 27,1983 Below is our sixth interim report on Bellefonte. We expect to submit our next report on er by June 19, 1984.
The 48 embedded plate sample selected at Bellefonte is now being myiewed by TVA's Civil Engineering Support Branch (CEB) to determine if any of the plates are overstressed. We will provide additional inforn.ation upon completion of this review.
