Dear Mr. Stolz:
This is in response to your letter of February 1983 (Log No. 1222) concerning Resolution of TMI Action Item II.K.3.5, " Automatic Trip of Reactor CooJant Pump" (Generic Letter 83-10). In our letter of June 30, 1983 (Serial No. 962) Toledo Edison planned to submit our plans and schedule by August 15, 1983 for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power station Unit No. 1 (DB-1).
Toledo Edisoggiaw j/u t received the generic proposal for the schedule for the analysis from p.abcock and Wilcox (B&W). The proposal contains the standard lower loop configuration and modifications to incorporate DB-1 raised loop design. The proposal must be evaluated as it relates to DB-1.
At the present time we.are in an outage which requires manpower and resources allocation and therefore we cannot meet the August date. Toledo Edison plans to submit the plans and schedule by September 30, 1983.
