Interim Report for a Problem Concerning a Weld i
Radiograph for a Recirculation Piping Spool Piece i
Description of the Problem I
While reviewing radiographs of a General Electric supplied spool piece (G004-A-2, Ell, #16) fabricated by AP&E as follow-up to NRC Bulletin 82-01, Niagara Mohawk Quality Assurance discovered an indication not addressed or i
i dispositioned on the accompanying radiographic review sheets. The size of the l
identified indication is in excess of the acceptance criteria for radiographic examination of Class 1 welds as defined in ASME Section III, Subarticle 1
NB-5320.
General Electric has been requested to respond to this problem.
A final report will be submitted by March 15, 1983.
