.s NI AGARA M0HMK POWER CORPORATION NINE MILE POINT - UNIT 2 DOCKET N0. 50-410 Interim Report for the Problem Concerning Reactor Building Roof Design Description of the Problem The reactor building roof deck was designed, fabricated and erected as a Quality Assurance Category III structure.
The reactor building should be maintained at a negative pressure with respect to the outside atmosphere during normal operation and also in the event of an accident.
In the event of an acci' dent and/or seismic event, the integrity of a Quality Assurance Category III structure cannot be assumed.
The matter is still under investigation, and a final report will be submitted by April 30, 1984.
