S UMMARY In accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 10, Part 50.90 and Part 2.101, Carolina Power 6 Light Company (CP&L) hereby requests revisions to the Technical Specification (TS) for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Unit Nos. I and 2.
These revisions supplement our November 8, 1982 submittal concerning the adoption of a new Special Test Exception relating to the 92-day interval core spray system flow test required by Technical Specification 4. 5. 3. l.c.1.
DISCUSSION Our November 8, 1982 request provided a Special Test Exception for the core spray system; however, a TS bases for the proposed Special Test Exception was not included in the submittal.
At the request of your staff, CP&L is herewith enclosing a proposed TS Bases for the core spray system Special Test Exception along with its associated index page.
This proposed bases describes the plant conditions for which use of the proposed Special Test Exception is permitted.
ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION Enclosed are TS pages with the proposed revisions indicated by vertical lines in the right-hand margins.
Since this request is a supplement to our November 8, 1982 request, we have determined that no additional license amendment fee is required.
