BELLEFONTE NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - GE RELAY DEFICIENCY -

BLRD-50-438/81-37,'BLRD-50-439/81 SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT The subject deficiency was initially reported to NRC-OIE Inspector R. V. Crlenjak on May 13, 1981 in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e) as NCR BLN EEB 8101. This was followed by our interim reports dated June 12 and September 16, 1981 and our final report dated February 24, 1982. As discussed with NRC-0IE Inspector P. E. Frederickson by telephone on December 6, 1982, the date of December 10, 1982 for completion of corrective actions indicated in our final report on this matter was not met. It was determined that two additional relay coils were necessary for replacement in the Intake Pumping Station. These coils have been ordered.

We consider 10 CFR Part 21 applicable to this deficiency.
