  • w/o attachments Per our phone conversation, I understand that the NRC has requested information on two areas.

The first is to supply manufacturer's pump curves for RHR and AFW pumps. Copies of the curves from our test data retention binders are enclosed for ~ transmittal to the NRC. The second request from the NRC was for implementing procedures which perform seat leakage testing of the accumulator discharge check valves. IT-01 for Unit 1 and IT-02 for Unit 2 perform the leak check. When the SI pumps are operated for their performance test, 1500 psig is developed against the RCS side of the check valves. Accumulator levels are recorded before the pump is started and again when it is secured. Any level increase-is attributed to check valve back leakage (into an accumulator). Copies of IT-01 and IT-02, current revisions are attached for transmittal to the NRC. Please feel free to contact me again if more questions arise.
