DPR-42 50-306 DPR-60 Submittal of the 2nd 10-Year Inservice Inspection and Testing (ISI/IST) Program Attached is the ASME Code Section XI ISI/IST Program for the second ten-year interval for Units 1 and 2 of the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant.
Three additional requests for relief are included in this program (66, 67 and 68) which are being submitted for NRC review and approval in accordance with 10 CFR Part 5'), Section 50.55a(g). A copy of our Licensing Fee Deter-mination form and a check in the amount of $4,400.00 is attached in payment of the licensing fee.

The Unit 1 portion of this program became effective on December 16, 1983.
The Unit 2 program will become effective on December 21, 1984.
N a The Prairie Island ISI/IST Program was previously approved by the NRC Staff in Amendments 43 and 60 to the Unit 1 Operating License and Amendments 37 and 54 to the Unit 2 Operating License. When the IST program was approved, however, seven requests for relief remained unresolved. These iterns have been the subject of two meetings with the Staff in 1983 and resolution is near. Requests for relief 2, 3, 4, 22, 24, 53 and 71 will be revissd or withdrawn if necessary in a future revision to our program when resolution is reached with the Staff.
