)
approximately 88 percent full power to 85 percent full power in response to high vibration on Main Feed Pump Turbine (MFPT) 1. At 2130 hours0.0247 days
0.592 hours
0.00352 weeks
8.10465e-4 months
a manual power reduction was initiated from 85 percent full power to determine the cause of the high vibration. Sixty percent full power was reached at 0012 hours1.388889e-4 days
0.00333 hours
1.984127e-5 weeks
4.566e-6 months
on December 2, and MFPT 1 was shutdown to perform a hot alignment check of the unit, realign the Main Feed Pump to the MFPT, and disassemble and inspect the MFPT 1 low pressure end bearing. When repairs were complete on December 5,1994 at 0858 hours0.00993 days
0.238 hours
0.00142 weeks
3.26469e-4 months
, a manual power increase was initiated from 60 percent full power. At 1725 hours0.02 days
0.479 hours
0.00285 weeks
6.563625e-4 months
and approximately 94 percent full power the power increase was briefly halted to perform Main Turbine control valve testing and vibration monitoring of MFPT 1 unit. When testing was complete at 2117 hours0.0245 days
0.588 hours
0.0035 weeks
8.055185e-4 months
, power was slowly increased from 94 to approximately 100 percent full power, which was attained at 2243 hours0.026 days
0.623 hours
0.00371 weeks
8.534615e-4 months
on December 5,1994.
Reactor power was maintained at this level until December 14,1994, when at 0900 hours0.0104 days
0.25 hours
0.00149 weeks
3.4245e-4 months
, Feedwater Heater 2-5 tripped on high level while troubleshooting the normal level controller. Reactor power was manually reduced to approximately 97 percent to maintain proper deaerator levels. The heater was restored to nonnal operation at 1052 hours0.0122 days
0.292 hours
0.00174 weeks
4.00286e-4 months
, and Reactor power was slowly increased to approximately 100 percent full power, which was attained at j
1511 hours0.0175 days
0.42 hours
0.0025 weeks
5.749355e-4 months
.
Reactor power was maintained at this level until December 25,1994, when at 1348 hours0.0156 days
0.374 hours
0.00223 weeks
5.12914e-4 months
, a manual power reduction was initiated per the Load Dispatcher's Request. Power was reduced to approximately 90 percent full power, which was attained at 1448 hours0.0168 days
0.402 hours
0.00239 weeks
5.50964e-4 months
. On December 26,1994, at 0700 hours0.0081 days
0.194 hours
0.00116 weeks
2.6635e-4 months
, Reactor power was manually increased from 90 percent to approximately 100 percent i
full power, which was attained at 0820 hours0.00949 days
0.228 hours
0.00136 weeks
3.1201e-4 months
. Reactor power remained at 100 percent full power for the rest of the month.
