SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE JUNE 1983 Indian Point Unit 3 was returned to service after a 440 day refueling and maintenance outage. The , generator was synchronized to the bus on June 8 at 0512 hours0.00593 days <br />0.142 hours <br />8.465608e-4 weeks <br />1.94816e-4 months <br />. On June 8 the Unit tripped at 0517 hourt because of high level in No. 31 steam generator while feedwater control was in manual control during synchronization to bus.
The reactor was eturned Jo criticality on June 8 at 0907 hours0.0105 days <br />0.252 hours <br />0.0015 weeks <br />3.451135e-4 months <br /> and the _
9) generator was synchronized to the bus on June 8 at 1236 hours0.0143 days <br />0.343 hours <br />0.00204 weeks <br />4.70298e-4 months <br />.
On June 18 at 2050 a fault in the electrical generator caused a unit trip.
The problem is under investigation and it is estimated that the unit will be retur[adtoserviceinJanuary1984.
