11/15/94 NARRATIVE
SUMMARY
MONTH: October 1994 McGuire Unit 1 began the month of October in end-of-cycle 9 refueling outage. The outage has been 69.20 days and was scheduled for 52 days. The refueling outage was delayed an additional; 4 days due to reactor coolant pump seal "C" repair and 13.2 days due to safety injection valve testing, inspection and repair. The unit was placed on-line 10/27/94 at 0946. During power escalation, the unit held at approximately 29% power on 10/28/94 from 0449 to 11/28/94 at 1150 due to auxiliary feedwater flow balance. The unit returned to 100% power on 10/30/94 at 0649 and operated at or near 100% power the remainder of the month.
