SUMMARY
MONTH: October 1994 I
I Catawba Unit 2 began the month of October operating at 100% full power. The unit experienced a reactor trip on 10/18/94 at 0956 due to a reactor trip signal generated while performing "B" train reactor trip testing. The unit returned to service on 10/19/94 at 2303. During power escalation, the unit held at 27% power on I
10/20/94 from 0404 to 0435 due to main turbine control valve movement testing. The unit returned to 100% full power on 10/2 /94 at 2215 and operated at or near 100%
full power the remainder of the month.
