BELLEFONTE NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 1 - OVERPRESSURIZATION OF MAKEUP AND PURIFICATION PIPING AND VALVES - BLRD-50-438/82 SUPPLEMENTAL FINAL REPORT The subject deficiency was initially' reported to.NRC-0IE Inspector D. Quick on May 28, 1982 in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e) as NCR 1808.
This was followed by our interim reports dated June 28 and August 10, 1982, our final report dated October 12, 1982, and our revised final report dated February 3, 1983 As discussed with NRC-0IE Inspector Linda Watson on June 30, 1983, the date of June 30, 1983 for completion of corrective actions indicated in our revised final report on this matter will not be met. Valve VIBB-439-A was found to have a leakage rate greater than that allowed by the design specifications. Accordingly, the subjact valve will be reworked and retested.
