I Please find attached five copies of Revision 1 to the Duke Power Company Response to Supplement 1 to NUREG-0737 for McGuire Nuclear Station. This document was originally submitted as an enclosure to my letter of April 14, 1983.
Revision I consists of proposed changes to the scheduled implementation date for the Upgraded Emergency Procedures and the scheduled operational date for the Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) on McGuire Units 1 and 2.
These schedule revisions are necessary due to a delay in the issuance of the Westinghouse Owners Group Emergency Response Guideline background documents.
These documents are required for activities associated with the EP development program and the EP and SPDS training programs.
j Instructions for inserting Revision 1 into the McGuire document are included as part of the attachment. Unless otherwise informed by the Staff, Duke Power Company will assume that the proposed schedule changes described above are acceptable without further action.
