Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit fio. 1 Docket flo. 50-334, License fio. DPR-66 flVREG-0737, i tem II.D.1 Pressurizer Safety and Relief Line Piping and Support Evaluation Gentlemen:

Our submittal of January 5,1983, addressing the above referenced flUREG-0737 item, stated that we had initiated a second iteration of the themal bydraulic evaluation and structural analysis on the Pressurf,'er Safety and Relief Line Piping and Supports. This regeneration of time history thermal hydraulic loads subsequent to the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) testing and the analyses to determine the impact on previous analyses has been completed.

Attached, please find the Pressuri-zer Safety and Relief Line Evaluation Summary Report containing the results of this analyses.

As a result of this analysis, it has been determined that the follow-ing activities are necessary:

tensioning of anchor bolts reposition of a snubber clamp maintaining an increased loop seal temperature These activities will be completed prior to start-up from our currcnt refueling outage and will ensure the operability and structural integrity of the system for all applicable loadings and load combinations l

including all pertinent safety and relief valve discharge cases.

Should you have any questions pertaining to the above, please do not hesitate to contact myself or members of my staff.

Very truly yours, i

l J. J. Carey h
