BELLEFONTE NUCLEAR PuANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - UNDERDESIGNED SNUBBER ON MAIN FEEDWATER PIPING IN VALVE ROOM B - BLRD-50-438/82-71, BLRD-50-439/82 THIRD INTERIM REPORT The subject deficiency was initially reported to NRC-0IE Inspector K. Landis on October 13, 1982 in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e) as NCR BLN CEB 8214. This was followed by our interim reports dated November 10, 1982 and February 16, 1983 This is our third interim report. TVA is continuing the process of documenting the completed analysis and reviewing the rigorous analysis problems to identify snubbers placed on valve operators with a restraint component along the axis of the pipe. We expect to submit our next report by January 18, 1984.
