UNIT TWO l
APRIL, 1983 4-1 to 4-25 Unit Two was shutdown for the greater portion of the month for its scheduled refueling and equipment outage. Major work included feedwater check and MSIV valve overhaul, i
repacking of vacuum breakers, local leak rate and integrated I
leak rate tests.
4-25 to 4-30 Unit Two reactor went critical at 0930 hrs followed by criticality checks. On the 26th, at 1320 hrs the unit was i
placed on-line which officially ended this refueling period.

Unit Two reached a power level of 538 MWe. The final results for the month was a capacity factor of 4.98% and an avail-ability of 14.83%.

APRIL, 1983 4-1 to 4-30 Unit Three entered the month operating at a power level of 828 MWe and operated continuously throughout the entire 4
month (with normal power reductions on weekends for surveil-lances), reaching a power level of 331 MWe with a capacity factor of 92.73% and an availability of 100%.
