In our letter to you dated April 13, 1983, South Carolina Electric & Gas Company stated that concerning the piping associated with the feedwater modification, piping break blowdown, as well as pipe whip, jet impingement and reactive forces were basic design considerations and would be evaluated to ensure that present FSAR commitments and considerations would not be changed or omitted.
