William McAfee Palmetto Alliance 2135 1/2 Devine Street Columbia, South Carolina 29205 You are hereby notifed pursuant to 10 CFR Section 2.740a that Applicants will take your oral deposition commencing on Thursday, May 18, 1983, at 3:30 p.m.
and continuing until completed, at the offices of Nexson, Pruet, Jacobs and Pollard, 1200 First National Building, Columbia, South Carolina, 29202. The deposition will relate to Palmetto Alliance Contention 6 which was admitted by the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board in its Order of December 1, 1982. Particular inquiry will focus on your Affidavit of July 22, 1981, which was attached to Palmetto Alliance's Petition to Intervene and on Palmetto Alliance's Responses to Applicants' Interrogatories con-cerning Contention 6.
(N. B. Palmetto Alliance filed two sets of Responses dated April 28, 1982, and April 19, 1983, respectively).
Your deposition will be taken with regard to your interest in this proceeding and your knowledge of Contention 6 and the factual basis in support thereof.
The deposition will be taken before an officer authorized to administer oaths by the Laws of South Carolina.
