BRUNSWICK UNIT NO. 1 Brunswick Unit No. I was shut down the entire month of March for a refueling /

maintenance outage.

There are 948* BWR and 160 PWR spent fuel bundles in the Brunswick No. 1 fuel pool.

• 472 bundles have been moved to spent fuel during refueling; of these, 160 i

will remain in the pool when the core is reloaded.

j Brunswick Unit No. 2 operated at a 100% availability factor for the month of l

March with a 99.3% capacity factor. There were five power reductions, they j

are detailed in Appendix D, the unit shutdowns and power reductions log.

There are 424 BWR and 144 PWR spent fuel bundles in the Brunswick No. 2 fuel j

pool.

Challenges to the main steam line safety relief valve is incomplete.

It will be included in April, 1983 report.
