The defective Safeguards Output Driver Board was replaced and the system was thorough}y tested prior to retuming to service.

19 940819 F 39.G A 1 N/A SI RPD Heater Drain Tank was overfilled during 8/15/94 startup stressing the tank's rupture disc. The rupture disc blew 8/19/94 s he unit was shut down to insta!! a replacems. Operators will be trained on this event.

SUMMARY

"* Unit 1 entered the month of August 1994 with 100% capability. An automatic shutdown occurred 8/11/94 due to a defective electronic circuit board. The unit was manually shutdown on 8/19/94 to replace the Heater Drain Tank rupture disc which failed. The unit operated routinely the remainder of the month.

SUMMARY

      • Unit 2 entered the month of August 1994 with 100% capability. An automatic trip occurred on 8/2/94 due to an 0-ring failure on a Feedwater Regulating Valve. The valve was repaired and the unit was returned to service. The unit operated routinely the remainder of the month.
