Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
Within our letter dated April 15, 1983 (Serial No. 933), Toledo Edison submitted schedules for completing each of the basic requirements of Supplement 1 to NUREG 0737, Requirements for Emergency Response Capability.
Subsequent to that, a re-confirmation of the schedule for which the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station.
Unit 1, will complete the mentioned requirements was requested. The action items and dates listed on the attachment have been planned to meet this request, through the review of the applicable requirements and the project status and development, as they currently exist.
Your office will be informed of any problems or circumstances having an impact on this implementation schedule.
Since the forwarding of the April 15, 1983 submittal, work involved on the Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) development has progressed more slowly than expected. Therefore, as seen on the attachment, dates relative to the com-pletion of this activity have been delayed 60 days. Dates for all other activi-ties associated with the Toledo Edison Emergency Response Capability are con-sistent with the April 15, 1983 submittal.
Further information detailing the work effort involved in each initiative and action item is available in the April 15, 1983 submittal.
