Narrative for Special Report 50-366/1983-01 On January 25, 1983, with Unit 2 in the RUN node at 1714 MPlt, the spray / sprinkler system providing protection for the Unit 2 East Cableway was isolated in order to
- perform nodifications to the system. A continuous fire watch and a 14 day Iro were established per Technical Specifications section 3.7.6.2, ICTION a.

further requires restoration of the system to operable status within 14 days or subnit a Special Report to the NBC pursuant to Technical Specification section 6.9.2.
W e spray / sprinkler systen was still out of service on February 8,1983, thus this Special Report is required.
%e spray / sprinkler system is being nodified to provide protection for an area of the Unit'2 East Cableway that was previously protected by an extension of the Unit 1 spray / sprinkler system. We nodification is expected to be conplete by the mid-die of March.
