Dear Mr. Keppler:

This is to confirm my verbal report to your Mr.

E.R. Swanson at 0845 hours0.00978 days <br />0.235 hours <br />0.0014 weeks <br />3.215225e-4 months <br /> on June 3, 1983.

At this time I informed Mr.

Swanson that during the conduct of an operational surveillance test both Containment Spray Systems were made inoperable for a time period of approximately 15 minutes. This error was discovered while performing an independent verification of the valve lineup.

We immediately took the necessary action to restore the required Containment spray System to an operable status.

As required by Technical Specification 6.9.1.12 a follow-up letter will be submitted within 14 days.
