The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has found that:

The application for amendment by Texas utilities Generating Company on its own behalf and on the behalf of the other Applicants (the Applicants) dated July 26, 1982, complies with the standards and requiremeats of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 as amended (the Act), and t.he Connission's rules and i

regulations set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I; B.

The issuance of this amendment will not be ininical to the common defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; C.

There is reasonable assurance (1) that the activities authorized by this amendment can be conducted without endangering the health and safety of the public and (11) that such activities will be conducted in accordance with the Commission's regulations.

D.

The issuance of this anendment is in accordance with 10 CFR Part 51 of the Commission's regulations and all applicable requirenents have been sstisfied.

Accordingly, the Nuclear Regulatory Connission has issued Amendment j

!!o. 6 to Construction Permit No. CPPR-126.

The amendment changes Condition 3.E(8) of CPPR-126 to read as follows:
