Dear Chairman Palladino:

I was deeply disturbed that letters of support sent by Governor Alexander, Senator Howard Baker and many other officials elected to represent the people of Tennessee were totally disregarded and omitted from N.R.C. 's staff r'eport on the Clinch River Breeder Reactor Proj ect.

I can only surmize that the N.R.C.'s staff's mind was already made-up and that they did not want to be confused by the facts.

It is my sincerest hope that the letters sent by the Governor and the United States Senate Majority Leader as well as numerous elected officials can be retrieved from the staff's trash can and be included in a supple-ment to that totally biased report.

Sincerely, b
