Crystal River Unit 3 Docket No. 50-302 Operating License No. DPR-72 Exemption to 10CFR73.21(d)(2) and (e)
Dear Mr. Stolz:
On January 11, 1982, Florida Power Corporation (FPC) requested an exemption to the NRC Final Rule on Protection of Unclassified Safeguards Information including the subject sections. On February 18, 1982, an exemption was granted to the subject sections until April 20,1982.
FPC has been notified by our supplier of GSA Approved Security Containers the containers cannot be shipped for ninety (90) days with receipt at the site and subsequent distribution to take additional time. FPC, therefore, requests an extension of the present exemption until August 2,1982.
We will continue to follow the exemption provisions in your February 18,1982, letter until receipt and installation of the security containers.
