DECLARATION OF ANDREA PIERCE I, Andrea Pierce am the Declarant herein, and I hereby make the following statements under the penalty of perjury:
- 1) I am an adult citizen of the United States, am not under disability, and make the following statements voluntarily.
- 2)
I urge the NRC to deny DTEs license amendment request for the NRCs approval to substitute the insertion of SNAP-IN neutron conductors, into their spent fuel pools, and thereby obtain relief from their current license extension commitment to replace the degraded Boraflex storage racks with Boral racks.
- 3)
I reside at 1188 Juneau Rd, Ypsilanti, MI 48198. This address is within ????? air miles of the Fermi reactor. I am concerned that Fermis proposed use of SNAP-IN neutron conductors could jeopardize my safety and the safety of other residents in the vicinity.
- 4)
In order to ensure that the continued operation of the Fermi 2 nuclear reactor does not infringe upon my vested interest in a safe and healthy environment, I authorize Citizens Resistance at Fermi 2 (CRAFT) to act on my behalf to intervene in the permitting proceedings in order to verify that theyre conducted fairly; with full consideration of the issues that could affect the public health, and safety.

I request that CRAFT, a grassroots organization with approximately 1,500 members residing within a 50-mile radius of the Fermi reactor, be accorded full standing, so that it may adequately represent its members, including myself, in this matter
