In conformance with the Commissions policy on notification of all participants of potentially new, relevant, and material information, counsel for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff (Staff) hereby informs the participants that the Director of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation has issued a renewed operating license for Fermi Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 2 (Fermi). The renewed license authorizes Fermi to operate for an additional 20 years beyond the expiration of its current license, i.e. until March 20, 2045.
