Dear Mr. Keppler:
This is to provide a supplemental interim report on resolution of a reportable deficiency involving mechanical snubber bracket interference.
Reference (a) provided the 30-day report of this deficiency.
It is numbered 82-09 for Byron Station and 82-09 for Braidwood Station.
In reference (a) we indicated that suspect snubber assemblies will be inspected to determine the extent of necessary repairs and the schedule for completion.
At present the lists of snubbers to be inspected have been compiled but the inspection 4
criteria have not yet been finalized.
Another report on this deficiency will be provided within sixty days.
Please address questions regarding this matter to this office.
