GENERATOR SURVEILLANCE SEGREGATION (TSP 890020-2)
E South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCELG) is submitting the enclosed attachment to supplement the previously submitted Technical Specification Change Request dated February 4, 1991 (a submittal requesting the segregation of two diesel generator surveillance requirements).
A Technical Specification Change Request that was approved and issued as Amendment No. 93 caused the renumeration of several surveillance requirements (SRs) for Specification 3/4.8.1.1.
However, the amendment application was
$Ubmitted without the detection of two cases in which the renumbered SRs were referenced in the text of Specification 3/4.8.1.1.
This supplement, in conjunctior, with the february 4 submittal which deletes one of the references, is being submitted to correct this oversite.
SCE&G requests that the reference of SR 4.8.1.1.2.d in the NOTE to lable 4.8-1 be renumbered as SR 4.8.1.1.2.f (see attachment). This change is strictly administrative in nature and does not affect the safety evaluation or the no significant hazards determination made with the february 4 submittal, however, it should be noted that making the correction reduces the probability of misinterpreting the requirements of specification 3/4.8.1.1, therefore reducing the possibility of personnel error.
