Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, holder of Facility Operating Licenses DPR-63 and NPF-69, hereby transmits an Application for Amendment to the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Physical Security Plan.

The proposed change to the Physical Secunty Plan is included as Attachment A and involves a revision to Section 3.4, " Response Force Capabilities," with regard to the number of armed Security Force Members comprising the Response Force for each shif t. Niagara Mohawk has reviewed the proposed change using NUREG 0007, " Acceptance Criteria for Determining Armed Response Force Size at Nuclear Power Plants", and has included documentation of this review within Attachment B. As Attachments A and B contain Safeguards Information of a type specified in 10CFR73.21, Niagara Mohawk requests that they be withheld from public disclosure.
