In Re ference (a) , Commonwealth Edison proposed to amend the Appendix A, Technical Specifications, to Facility Operating License DPR-29 to support the review o f future Quad Cities Unit I reloads in accordance with 10 CFR 50.59. The purpose of this transmittal is to correct two minor typographical errors in Reference (a) and to provide revised MAPLHGR versus exposure limits for Barrier Lead Test Assembly (LTA) fuel.

Re vised pages 1.2 /2.2-1 and 3.3 /4.3-5 are provided in Attachment 1 to this letter. The first page title has been revised to read 1.2/2.2 instead o f 1.2/2.1. The second page has been corrected to read 4.3.C.3 instead o f 4.3.C.5 for the new scram -

insertion time surveillance.

i Also contained in At tachment 1 is revised Figure 3.5-1 (Shee t 1 o f 4) . This figure has been changed to provide extended MAPLHCR vs. exposure curves for Barrier LTAs. The results o f General Electric ECCS analyses supporting this revision are provided in At tachment 2. This change has received On-Site and O f f-Site review and approval.
