Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Docket No. 50/395 Operating License No. NPF-12 Physical Security Plan
Dear Mr. Denton:
South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCE&G), acting for itself and as agent for South Carolina Public Service Authority, submits five (5) copies of Amendment 8 to the Physical Security Plan under the provision of 10CFR50.54(p).
These changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan.
Amendment 8 establishes the controls necessary to permit the continuing recognition of security clearances of those Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station employees who change employers, but continue to be assigned to the Station.
The attachment contains information which should be withheld from public disclosure as provided by 10CFR2.790.
