Docket No. 50-285
- 1) ear ric. heldle:
Fort Calhoun Station Permanent Technical Support Center (TSC)
Omaha Public Power District responded to the Commission's findings regarding the Emergency Preparedness Appraisal for the Fort Calhoun Station by letter dated June 1, 1982.
Specifically, the District's response to item 19 of Attachment 2 detailed that the transition for utilizing the interim TSC as an emergency response facility to the permanent TSC would be completed by September 1, 1982. The District selected this schedule based on the objective of having the permanent TSC functional and available for use during the 1982 annual emergency exercise. The purpose of this letter is to inform the Commission that y
the District officially declared the permanent TSC operational on September 12, 1982. This date is consistent with the District's intent, since the 1982 emergency exercise was conducted on September 15, 1982 and the new TSC was utilized as an emergency response facility at that time.
Sincerely,
