Docket No. 50-285
Dear Mr. Clark:
Fort Calhoun Station Containment Hydrogen Monitors (NUREG-0737, Item II.F.1.6)
Omaha Public Power District's letter to the Commission, dated March 10, 1982, detailed a delay in placing the subject hydrogen monitors into operation due to damage that occurred during calibration in late 1981. The District returned the hydrogen analyzer cell to the vendor for repair and, based on the vendor's initial repair schedule, the District expected to have the monitors reinstalled and operational by June 1, 1982. However, the District has not received the repaired analyzer cell. The vendor has assured us that the repaired equipment has been shipped to the Fort Calhoun Station and the District expects receipt within the next two weeks.
Af ter receipt, the District will require approximately ten days to reinstall and calibrate the hydrogen
- monitors, lhe District will inform the Commission by July 1,1982 when the containment hydrogen monitors are fully operational.

, Sincerely, l
