Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Docket No. 50/395 Operating License NPF-12 Radiation Emergency Plan
Dear Mr. Denton:
As required by 10CFR50.54(q), South Carolina Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G),
acting for itself and as agent for South Carolina Public Service Authority, submits ten (10) copies of Revision 9 to the Radia' tion Emergency Plan.
Revision 9 reflects the recent implementation.of the new Emergency Operations Facility and News Media Area, the c.hange in the ten (10) mile Emergency Planning Zone to include three schools, and personnel changes in the offsite emergency organization. This revision, which has been reviewed by the Plant Safety Review Committee,does not decrease the effectiveness of the Radiation Emergency Plan to meet the standards of[ 10CFR50.47(b) and Appendix E.
By this revision, SCE&G meets the requirements of Operating License Condition 2.C.26.
