Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

In our letter dated November 4, 1983, South Carolina Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G) stated that the information necessary to resolve the overlap criteria issue would be provided by January 28, 1983.

However, the contractor utilized has not yet completed the analytical study of the overlap issue.

A more extensive effort than originally estimated has been zequired for completion of this study which is currently scheduled for February 28, 1983.

A final report on this issue will be provided by March 4, 1983.
