Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
On February 10, 1982, Florida Power and Light Company (FPL) notified the Region II Office of Inspection and Enforcement, in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.55(e), of a potential deficiency regarding the fan belts on diesel generators 2A and 2B. An' interim report submitted to you on November 24,1982 (L-82-517) stated that a final report would be submitted by January 20, 1983. We are still working on this problem and expect to submit a final report by February 8,1983.
