i BELLEFONTE NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSE TO VIOLATION 50-438, 50-439/82-23 INADEQUATE INVESTIGATION OF GENERIC ASPECTS AND FAILURE TO IDENTIFY CAUSE FOR SIGNIFICANT DEFICIENCIES This is in response to R. C. Lewis' letter dated August 26, 1982, report numbers 50-438/82-23, 50-439/82-23, concerning activities at the Bellefonte Nuclear Plant which appeared to have been in violation of NRC regulations.

The previous response to this violation was submitted on October 7,1982.

our response on this matter was not met.

Coordination activities in addition to those previously anticipated are necessary in order to obtain sufficient information for inclusion in the revisions to the affected nonconformance reports. Corrective action on this matter will now be complete on or before December 10, 1982.
