NPF-9, issued to Duke Power Company (licensee) for the ficGuire fluclear Station, Unit 1 (the facility) located in Mecklenburg County, florth Carolina.
The amendment is effective as ef its date of issuance.
This amendment extends the required implenentation dates for upgraded meteoro-logical and dose assessment capability.
Issuance of this amendment complies with the standards and requirenents of the Atonic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comnission's regu-l a ti on s.
The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by tre Act and the Commission's regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forch in the license amendnent.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
The Commission has detenained that the issuance of this a.nendment will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR g51.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement, or negative declaration and environ-mental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this amendment.
