Dear Sir:
By letter dated September 24, 1993 the NRC issued a Notice.of Violation as described in Inspection Report No. 50-269/93-23, 50-270/93-23, and 50-287/93-23.
Duke Power Company provided a response to the Violation on October 25, 1993, i
This' letter is.to inform you of a change in a commitment completion date.
In Example A of the violation,. Duke committed

to revise the Molded Case Circuit Breaker Test.and Inspection u
Procedure by December 15, 1993.

.The Molded. Circuit Breaker Testing Program, which is a pilot program, has been suspended for the Unit 3 outage while a thorough review of the entire program is completed.
The 1
program review, and any necessary changes as a re sult thereof, l
in addition to the' procedure revision will be in place before the Unit 1 End of Cycle 15 refueling outage.
This.is currently scheduled to begin April 15, 1994.
