Nuclear Regulatory Commission Bulletin 88-11 (Reference a) requested that we establish and implement a program to confirm pressurizer surge line integrity in view of thermal stratification issues. Action 1.d of the bulletin required us to update our stress and fatigue analyses to ensure l
compliance with applicable Code requirements. Reference (b) requested that we "... confirm that all actions requested by the Bulletin 88-11, including the updating of the plant-specific stress and fatigue analyses required by Action 1.d, have been completed." As Reference (c) states,we could not confirm completion of Action 1.d until we received final documentation of Combustion Engineering Owners Group (CEOG) Task 6%," Surge Line Design Report Addenda."

We received final documentation of CEOG Task 696 on December 2,1993. We have reviewed and updated our stress and fatigue analyses to ensure compliance with applicable Code requirements. All of the actions requested by Bulletin 88-11 are complete. Attachment (1) lists all documents related to Bulletin 88-11.
