DRAFT SALARY OFFSET PROCEDURES Attached for your review are draf t NRC salary offset procedures required by the Debt Collection Act of 1982.
These draft procedures have been circulated to the Offices of personnel, General Counsel and Administration for their review and comment. We understand the Office of the General Counsel will be forwarding significant comments to us in the near future.
After all internal NRC comments are received, incorporated, or otherwise resolved, the procedures then must be approved by the Office of Personnel Management prior to publication in the Federal Register as a proposed rule.
We would appreciate your review and any comments on the draf t procedures as soon as possible.
